About the venue
The Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) was opened in 1988 and has grown into one of the main exhibition venues in Hong Kong. It has 70,000sqm of rentable space for trade shows, conventions and other special functions. More than 1,000 events are held there annually.
First expanded in 1997, the HKCEC is currently undergoing further development to increase the rentable space to 90,000sqm. Construction commenced in 2006 and is set to be completed in the coming year.
